Skip was fantastic. A board in my entryway floor buckled. He answered my cal right away - on a Sunday - when I was expecting just to leave a message. He came the next morning and screwed down the board free of charge. I am planning to call him next summer to build a screened in porch for us.

Skip was immediately responsive and took care of a small siding repair at half the cost of lowest estimate. Great communication. I'm impressed and will be calling him again to do some inside drywall work.

I realized I never posted a review for Skip. He rebuilt my deck after it was damaged by a fire from my grill. (Don't use a charcoal grill on your deck!) He and Tommy rebuilt my deck in record time, to my specs, and Skip did it for a reasonable price. This is a good company that won't give you the runaround, and they are respectful to women. Which means a lot if you are a single mom who owns your own house. Two thumbs up, and Skip, I'm sorry it took me so long.

We hired Skip and crew to open up a stairwell in our 1939 cape cod. Their bid was competitive so we hired them. The outcome is terrific! They showed up every day on time. The work was superb. They cleaned up at the end of each day. The job finished on schedule. Ran into some surprises as the house is old, but they were good at finding workarounds. Highly recommend Skip and team.

Skip was a breeze to work with on our deck replacement. Like other reviewers have said--he's no nonsense but honest and forthright. I'd recommend him any day!

Just want to thank guys for a job well done! We had a kitchen fire right after Christmas. Boss and his crew came right in and started to go to work. They knew exactly what to do and who to call, every step of the way. They even helped us file your paperwork and deal with our insurance adjuster. Boss was extremely warm and caring towards our family. He put our minds at ease during a very difficult time.

I live in an older condominium which had a dark depressing 1920`s kitchen which never felt clean. Skips Modern Carpentry undertook a complete kitchen renovation to produce a modern kitchen which fits well into the traditional style of the house. The renovation never impinged on the other residents of the condominium as all demolition was contained and craftsmen were careful to clean up each day. I highly recommend Skips Modern Carpentry.

I liked a lot what this remodeling contractor did in my house. I call for various repairs and all was done in time and so well I`m actually still pretty much excited right now. I write this review with a smile in my face. Thank you!
